What is the cost per session?

Our standard rate is $150 per session.

How do I pay?

We will explore payment options during the initial phone consultation. After the initial phone call, your counselor will send you several paperwork which will include the necessary instructions to put a credit card on file. Payment is due at the end of each session.

Do you take insurance?

We do not take insurance. We are happy to provide you with a Superbill (a receipt) for you to file directly to your insurance provider. It is important to note that some insurance companies may reimburse some percentage of the fee you paid but we cannot guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you for Husemann Counseling PLLC services. We advise you to call your insurance provider beforehand to avoid unpleasant surprises.

What kinds of counseling services do you offer?

We offer counseling services in English and Spanish to adolescents and adults aged 16+. The services we currently offer include Individual therapy, Group therapy and Resource consultations. We are legally able to provide therapy services to individuals living in the state of Texas. We do not provide services to individuals who are currently engaged in a legal process, under an open CPS investigation, or who have been mandated to therapy.

What locations are available for therapy sessions?

At the moment we offer teletherapy (online) sessions only. Counseling services are offered through a secure, HIPAA compliant platform.

Can I schedule services for someone other than myself?

No, the client needs to fill out the request for themselves. You are welcome to help someone in filling out the form, but ultimately the client will need to be the one to submit the form and discuss services with the counselor.

How do I get in touch with my counselor?

Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email from your counselor, which will include their contact details such as phone number and email address.

What if I am dissatisfied with my counselor
or the therapy approach?

No worries! We encourage you to openly communicate your feelings and expectations with your counselor. If they are unable to meet your hopes and expectations, they will assist you in finding another counselor better suited to address your concerns.
